L'Aventure Gold is the feminine version of the range, and it is a fruity floral far richer than the price suggests.
— The opening is green and tart: bergamot, blackcurrant and green leaves. The blackcurrant gives that juicy, slightly sharp side that wakes you up, the green leaves keep it from turning sweet.
— The heart is the fullest of the whole selection: jasmine, rose, lily of the valley, plum and orchid. The plum is the note that makes the difference — it brings a velvety roundness that classic florals do not have.
— The base is soft and creamy: musk, vanilla and sandalwood. That is what makes it last and what gives it its warm signature at the end of the day.
A daytime fragrance that holds in the evening, good all year but at its best in spring and autumn. Two sprays; it is generous.

L'Aventure Femme is the fruitiest of the Al Haramain feminines, and the most sunlit.
— The opening is generous: bergamot, blackcurrant, red berries and pineapple. Pineapple is rare in feminine perfumery and it is what makes this opening recognisable — juicy, almost sparkling.
— The heart settles onto rose, freesia and cedar. Freesia is a fresh, lightly peppery flower; it keeps the rose from being too well-behaved, and the cedar already starts building the base.
— The base is soft and warm: sandalwood, vanilla, amber and musk. This is the part that lasts, and it is markedly more oriental than the opening suggested.
A spring and summer fragrance, for daytime, bright and cheerful. It is liked quickly, which makes it a good gift. Note: do not confuse it with L'Aventure Gold, which is more floral and more powdery — this one is frankly fruity.

Bleu Edition is the sharpest of the Amber Oud range: a woody citrus made for daytime.
— The opening snaps: lemon, grapefruit, pink pepper and mint. The grapefruit brings a fresh bitterness, the mint a real sensation of cold on the skin for the first few minutes. It is the most energetic opening of the whole selection.
— The heart spices and dries: ginger, vetiver and jasmine. The ginger carries the freshness of the opening further while warming it, and the vetiver already lays down the base.
— The base is woody and resinous: patchouli, cedar, sandalwood and frankincense. Frankincense is the resin burned in mosques for centuries — it gives the fragrance a solemn depth that is surprising after such a fresh start.
