Abyat is the most elegant feminine of the range: a fruity floral that ends in an unexpected way.
— The opening is fruity and sharp: mandarin, pear and pepper. The pear gives a juicy roundness, the pepper keeps it from being saccharine.
— The heart is a quality floral trio: rose, peony and osmanthus. Osmanthus is an Asian flower smelling of apricot and leather — a rare and expensive material, and it is what gives the fragrance its particular signature.
— The base is the surprise: musk, patchouli, leather and cedar. After a fruity, floral opening you do not expect a leather base. That is exactly what makes this fragrance interesting and grown-up — the osmanthus in the heart had announced it.
A daytime fragrance that holds in the evening, good all year. It particularly suits someone who finds fruity florals too well-behaved: this one has a foundation. Two sprays.

Rawae'e Monarch belongs to the Eternal collection, Al Wataniah's upper line — and you can hear it from the opening.
— The start is soft and fruity: pear, mandarin and bergamot, with a lavender that immediately sets a dry counterpoint. Pear and lavender together is an unusual accord: the fruit rounds off the aromatic herb, and the herb keeps the fruit from turning sweet.
— The heart is short and clean: jasmine and orchid. The orchid brings a creamy, almost milky floral that serves as a transition towards the base rather than putting on a show.
— The base is the real destination: vanilla, musk, sandalwood and amber. Sandalwood is creamy and milky, and with the vanilla it gives that velvety finish which stays on the skin for hours.
A late-day and evening fragrance, at its best in autumn and winter. It is feminine without being sweet — the lavender in the opening and the sandalwood in the base give it an elegant poise that vanilla florals do not always have. Two sprays.

Hayat is the gourmand oriental of the range, presented in a feminine version.
— The opening is spiced and warm: cinnamon, nutmeg and bergamot. There is no fresh phase; the fragrance announces straight away what it is.
— The heart is an oriental sweetmeat: date and praline, carried by tuberose and mahonia. The date brings a dry, fruity sugar that is very Middle Eastern, the praline a confectionery side, and the tuberose — an opulent white flower — gives the whole thing breadth.
— The base is resinous and long: vanilla, tonka bean, benzoin, amber, myrrh and agarwood. The resins are what make it last: benzoin and myrrh have been used in perfumery for millennia for precisely that.
An autumn and winter fragrance, for the evening, warm and enveloping. It is sweet — that is its identity, not a flaw — so it is for someone who likes this register. Two sprays.
