Nawal Bronzite is the most oriental of the selection — the one that fully embraces the Gulf register.
— The opening is dominated by saffron, supported by nutmeg and a lavender that brings a little air. Saffron is the signature spice of Arabian perfumery: leathery, lightly honeyed, never hot.
— The heart is the centre of the fragrance: agarwood and leather, softened by sweet accords. Agarwood — oud — is the most expensive material in oriental perfumery, resinous and deep. The leather gives it character, and the sugar keeps the whole thing from being austere.
— The base is warm and long: patchouli, musk, amber and sandalwood. That is what remains after several hours, and it really does remain.
An autumn and winter fragrance, for the evening, for someone who already knows oriental fragrances and wants a real one. This is not a discovery fragrance — oud and leather together is assertive. One to two sprays, no more.

Tibyan is the brightest of the range: a fresh fruity floral that finishes on a warm vanilla.
— The opening is radiant: Sicilian mandarin and blackcurrant, with lavender and petitgrain. Petitgrain is the leaf of the orange tree — green, bitter, it keeps the fruit from being sweet right from the start.
— The heart is floral and clean: jasmine, lavender and orange blossom. The lavender comes back from the opening and makes the link, which gives the fragrance a real continuity instead of three separate storeys.
— The base is soft and enveloping: Madagascar vanilla, cedar, amber and musk. Madagascar vanilla is the roundest and creamiest of the vanillas, and it is what gives the fragrance its comfortable finish.
A spring and summer fragrance, for daytime, easy to wear and easy to give. Unisex, with a slight feminine leaning because of the orange blossom. Two to three sprays; it is discreet.

Rose Mystery Intense is the simplest fragrance of the range, and that is its strength: three noble materials, nothing else.
— The opening is bright: pink pepper, bergamot and hedione. Hedione is a perfumery molecule that smells of fresh jasmine and of air — you do not notice it, it makes everything else clearer and wider. It is one of the most used ingredients in modern perfumery.
— The heart is built entirely on rose, and not just any: Bulgarian rose and Turkish rose together, with Egyptian jasmine. These are the three most prestigious flowers in perfumery. The Bulgarian is honeyed and deep, the Turkish fresher and more lemony — the two together give a complete rose.
— The base is minimal and warm: Madagascar vanilla and amber. Just enough to set the rose down and make it last.
A modern rose, which carries from daytime into the evening and works all year. It is listed as unisex and it really is: built this way, with no added sugar, it leans neither way. Two sprays.
