— The opening mixes spice and red fruit: pepper, cardamom, saffron, apple, raspberry, strawberry. That is unusual: generally you choose one or the other. Here the saffron bites into the fruit from the very first second.

— The heart is the remarkable passage: peony, violet, rose, milk, labdanum and incense. Milk in the middle of a floral bouquet is rare — it brings a velvety roundness, like a veil laid over the flowers. And beneath it, the labdanum and the incense plant an oriental structure the opening gave no hint of.

— The base confirms it: patchouli, musk, sandalwood, vanilla.

A mid-season and autumn fragrance, for day as well as evening, unisex with a feminine leaning.

Its interest is right there: it opens like a European fruity floral and ends like an oriental.

— The opening is green and milky: fig, coconut and bergamot. Fig in perfumery is as much the leaf as the fruit: green, milky, a little bitter. With the coconut, the effect is creamy without being sweet.

— The heart is salty: sea breeze, cardamom and cistus. Cistus is labdanum in its raw state — a Mediterranean resin that smells of vegetal leather and of sun-heated scrubland. It is what gives the fragrance its mineral roughness.

— The base is dry: saffron, sandalwood, musk and moss.
