Worodi is the most exotic of the Luxus line, and the only one that dares to use banana.
— The opening is tropical and creamy: exotic fruits dominated by banana and coconut, with a blackcurrant bringing the acidity. Banana is delicate to get right in perfumery — badly measured it turns into candy — and here it is held in check by the blackcurrant.
— The heart calms down and softens: vanilla, cedar, sandalwood and white flowers. The sandalwood and the vanilla carry the milky side of the coconut on, and the woods begin to give structure.
— The base is the real surprise: agarwood, dry woods, chocolate and musk. Chocolate with agarwood — oud — is a bold and very oriental pairing, and it transforms the fragrance completely: what began as a basket of tropical fruit ends as a woody dessert.
An evening fragrance, for autumn and winter. Presented as feminine, in a bottle sheathed in pink velvet. To be honest: the contrast between the tropical start and the cocoa-oud base will not please everybody — you have to like fragrances that tell a story in three acts. Two sprays.

Raunaq — “radiance”, “splendour” — is the most vegetal and the most unexpected of the house.
— The opening is a crisp, luminous citrus accord, short, serving mainly as the way in.
— The heart is where the fragrance becomes singular: eucalyptus, ylang-ylang and cypriol. Eucalyptus is rare in feminine perfumery — it brings a camphorous, almost minty freshness. Cypriol, or nagarmotha, is an Indian root with a woody, lightly smoky scent, much used in oriental perfumery. Those two together, with the floral roundness of the ylang-ylang, give a green, spiced heart you will find nowhere else in this catalogue.
— The base is dry and warm-hearted: cedar, sandalwood, oakmoss and coumarin. Coumarin is the smell of cut hay and almond — it is what softens the greenness of the heart.
A spring and summer fragrance, for daytime, for someone looking for something other than fruit or vanilla. Anise-green bottle, green and silver gift box. Two to three sprays.

Jassar carries a name that means bravery, and it is the most approachable of the Luxus line — the one that is liked straight away.
— The opening is luminous: bergamot, mandarin and jasmine. Having jasmine in the top notes is rare — most fragrances keep it for the heart — and it gives a start that is fresh and already floral at once.
— The heart tips towards the gourmand: caramel and rose. That pairing is the fragrance's signature. Caramel alone would be heavy, rose alone would be well behaved; together they give something warm-hearted and dressed-up.
— The base is comfortable: musk, sandalwood, vanilla and amber. Sandalwood is naturally milky; it carries the softness of the caramel on without making it sticky.
A late-day and evening fragrance, good all year, frankly unisex. The bottle is sea-green, with curves evoking a wave, in a turquoise and silver gift box — one of the finest in the selection, and that matters when you are giving it. Two sprays.
