The third member of the Hawas family, and the one that departs from it most — thanks to a single material: star anise.
— The opening takes up the apple, the lemon and the bergamot of the line, but the star anise lays a dry, almost minty freshness over them that exists nowhere else in the range. That is what justifies the word “Ice” on the bottle.
— The heart returns to plum, orange blossom and cardamom.
— The base replaces the patchouli of the original with moss: greener, more mineral, less earthy. The driftwood and the ambergris stay, and so does the marine signature.
Of the three Hawas in the catalogue, this is the one with the most personality of its own.
Register: spring, summer, daytime. Decent wear, frank projection at the start.

The marine version of the Hawas line. In practice: where the classic Hawas is fruity and warm, Atlantis is fruity and fresh.
— The same architecture as the original Hawas: apple, lemon, bergamot, cinnamon in the top notes.
— Cardamom and plum in the heart, but with an aquatic accord added there that changes the temperature of the whole thing.
— The base stays ambery and woody, but it pushes less, it stays closer to the skin.
It is the same fragrance dressed for summer. It will give you the same scent in a lighter version. That is not a flaw if it is what you are looking for — it is a problem if you expected something else.
Register: spring and summer, daytime. Decent wear, moderate projection — in full sun, that is an advantage.

A fougère oriental, and the only true representative of that family in our Rasasi selection. The fougère, in perfumery, is the lavender – geranium – moss – coumarin accord: the structure of classic masculine eaux de toilette, the one of a clean shave and an ironed shirt. Here it is reworked in the Gulf manner.
— The opening is frank and aromatic: bergamot, lavender, geranium.
— The heart brings rose and sage, then the sandalwood and cedar that announce what follows.
— The base crosses over to the oriental side: amber, musk, oakmoss and oud.
That shift is what makes the bottle interesting. You start on familiar European ground and end on a Middle Eastern base. The bridge is well made.
Who it is for: someone who wears classic fragrances and wants to move to the oriental without jumping into the void.
Register: all year, daytime. Long wear, moderate projection.
