The red Shaghaf is the easiest to love of the whole line.

— It announces an oud, and what you smell first is a fruit: peach, melon, apple — juicy flesh, not candy.

— The rose and the tonka bean then take over and the fragrance slides towards dessert: the tonka brings that almond-caramel note that makes you think of a pastry.

— The oud arrives only at the end, in the base, wrapped in vanilla and sandalwood. It never bites, it thickens.

This is the right bottle for someone who has never worn oud and is afraid it might be too much. Here the oud is in the service of the fruit, not the other way round. Autumn, winter, and spring evenings.

No aggressive oud despite the name: it is there to give the base body, not to cut through. Anyone buying this bottle is buying an almond-vanilla, and they will not be disappointed.
