— The opening is a citrus duo: mandarin and bergamot. Fresh, crisp, classic.
— The heart is announced as woody notes and amber — without the woods being named.
— The base is announced as spiced notes and musk, again with no detail.
A spring and summer fragrance, for daytime, masculine. Three sprays.

Royal Leather announces the leather from the very first second, which is rare: usually it is hidden in the base.
— The opening is dry and green: leather, juniper berries and yerba maté. Maté is a South American leaf that smells of smoked tea and hay; with the juniper, it gives a bitter, vegetal entrance that dresses the leather instead of leaving it bare.
— The heart warms up: ambergris, tonka bean and oud. The tonka brings the almond, the ambergris the skin, the oud the wood. It is the most comfortable passage of the fragrance.
— The base is the most surprising: praline, saffron and rose. Putting a gourmand beneath a leather is a modern choice — it softens the ending a great deal and makes the fragrance wearable by someone who does not like dry leathers.
An autumn and winter fragrance, for the evening, for men. The leather here is a soft leather, of new leather goods, not a saddlery leather. Two sprays.

Red Carpet Paragon is the spiced woody of the range, and the most dressed-up of the twelve.
— The opening is lively and sharp: blood orange, black pepper and a spice accord. Blood orange is deeper and more bitter than sweet orange — it stands up to the pepper instead of being crushed by it.
— The heart is aromatic and clean: lavender and orange blossom. It is the signature of classic masculine fragrances, and it is what makes this one wearable at the office.
— The base is broad and comfortable: woody accords, moss, white sandalwood, tonka bean and amber. The moss gives the woodland smell, the white sandalwood the creamy softness, the tonka the almond.
A mid-season and autumn fragrance, for daytime, unisex with a masculine leaning. With Phantom Paragon it forms the house's Paragon line — but the two are very different: this one is dry and spiced, the other soft and almondy. Three sprays.
