The most serious of the small Ayat formats, and the one whose pyramid is the best documented.
— The opening pairs orange blossom, bergamot and jasmine with saffron — and it is that saffron that changes everything. It lays a very oriental leather-and-hay note beneath the white flowers, and it keeps the fragrance from being just a bouquet.
— The heart deepens with Indian jasmine and tuberose, over ambergris and amberwood. Tuberose is a powerful, carnal flower that divides opinion — some adore it, others find it too present. This is a fragrance that asserts itself.
— The base is the reward: Madagascan vanilla, white musk, cedar, and a fir resin that brings an almost green balsamic note. Rare, and well judged.
Who it is for: someone who likes well-built white flowers and is not afraid of a fragrance that gets noticed.
Long wear for a small format. Autumn, winter, evenings.

A rich fruity floral, with a heart that does all the work: heliotrope.
— The opening is generous with fruit: blackcurrant, passion fruit, grape, backed by peony and rose. It is fresh, tart, juicy — the kind of start that pleases immediately.
— Then heliotrope takes over. It is the flower that smells of almond and talcum powder at the same time, and it is what gives this fragrance its soft, enveloping side. Tuberose and jasmine accompany it as white flowers.
— The base is sober and well judged: musk, patchouli, cedar. It holds the fragrance up without weighing it down, and it lets the heliotrope stay perceptible for a long time.
Who it is for: someone who likes fruity fragrances but finds that most of them stop at candy. Here the fruit is only the way in.
Average longevity, moderate projection. Spring, summer, and early autumn.

A spiced gourmand, with an unusual opening: marigold. Marigold is that orange garden flower that smells of bitter grass and dried honey.
— Paired with orange, lemon and sage, it gives an aromatic and slightly rustic start — nothing sweet to begin with.
— The heart swings over frankly: cardamom, cinnamon, praline, tuberose. This is where the fragrance becomes a spiced dessert, with the tuberose giving it floral height.
— The base is warm and dense: black amber, patchouli, vanilla, white musk. Black amber is the deepest version of amber — resinous, a little smoky.
What makes the bottle interesting is that contrast between a herbaceous start and a pastry-shop ending. Nobody expects that journey.
Average to long wear. Autumn, winter, evenings.
