Bharara Chocolate has a misleading name, and it is best said straight away: there is neither chocolate nor cocoa in it. The gourmand side comes from the date, the praline and the vanilla. A customer ordering it for the chocolate will be disappointed.

— The opening is spiced: bergamot, cinnamon and cardamom. Two warm spices laid over a citrus is the classic entrance of Gulf orientals.

— The heart is the heart of the fragrance: date, praline, tuberose, cognac and leather. The candied date and the praline make the sugar; the leather and the tuberose give the depth. It is very rich.

— The base is oriental and long: benzoin, vanilla, tonka bean, musk and oud.
