Gossip Night

Gossip Night is the most frankly gourmand of the White Collection — the one that commits to dessert.

— The opening is exotic: mango flower, lychee and heliotrope. Lychee is as floral as it is fruity, and it is what gives the sparkle; the mango flower brings a tropical softness without the sugar of the fruit.

— The heart is a plate of pastry: white peach, whipped cream and caramel. It is the passage that makes the fragrance's whole character, and it is also the one that divides opinion — you either love it or find it too much.

— The base is warm and comfortable: Madagascan vanilla, white musk and cashmeran. Cashmeran is a woody-musky molecule that gives that sensation of a cashmere jumper.

An autumn and winter fragrance, for the evening, feminine. The youngest of the collection's three gourmands — released in 2023 — and the most demonstrative.

— The opening is unexpected: lime, bergamot and candy floss. The lime cuts through, the candy floss shows the colours — this will be sweet, and it is owned from the very first second.

— The heart is the subject: jasmine, rose jam and powdery notes. “Rose jam” is the accord of cooked, sweetened rose you find in Turkish delight and Middle Eastern pastries.

— The base is classic: vanilla, musk and amber.

Macramé is the exception of the White Collection: it is the only one that is not gourmand.

— The opening is green and fruity: bergamot, pear and apple blossom. Apple blossom is a springtime note, fine and lightly honeyed — nothing to do with the fruit.

— The heart is the subject: rose, redcurrant and powdery notes. The redcurrant sharpens the rose and keeps it from being well behaved; the powdery side gives it that slightly old-fashioned elegance which is its whole charm.

— The base is sober and earthy: musk, amber and patchouli. No vanilla, no sugar — a real classical perfumery base.

An all-season fragrance, for day as well as evening, feminine.

In the whole luxury range, it is the only powdery rosy floral with no gourmand side. Released in 2018, it is also the oldest of the four White Collection fragrances, and the one that ages best as an idea. Composed by Luca Gritti. Three sprays.
