Bayn Al Asrar — “among the secrets” — is the most grown-up and most carefully built of the whole Paris Corner range.
— The opening is unusual: hazelnut and pear, with olibanum. Olibanum is frankincense, the resin burned in places of worship for millennia. Pairing it with a gourmand hazelnut right in the top notes is a bold choice, and it is what gives the fragrance its signature.
— The heart is the richest in the catalogue: saffron, rose, sambac jasmine and osmanthus. Osmanthus is an Asian flower with a scent of apricot and leather — a rare and expensive material. With the saffron, it creates a leathery facet that takes the fragrance completely out of the sweet register.
— The base is precious: akigalawood, ambergris, labdanum, sandalwood and vanilla. Akigalawood is a molecule derived from patchouli that evokes oud; ambergris is one of the most expensive materials in perfumery.
An evening fragrance, for autumn and winter, genuinely unisex and clearly more sophisticated than the rest of the range. Two sprays.

Ophidian Black Cherry is the darkest of the range's fruity fragrances: a black cherry laid over oud.
— The opening is fleshy: cherry and raspberry, with bergamot and already some wood. Black cherry is a note that has swept through perfumery in recent years, and it is well done here — pulpy, a little bitter, never syrupy.
— The heart is the contrast: praline and heliotrope on one side, rose and oud on the other. This is where the fragrance stands out — sweet praline against resinous oud is an unusual tension, and a successful one.
— The base is deep and dry: tonka bean, patchouli, vetiver and incense. The vetiver and the incense dry out the gourmand opening completely and leave a resinous, grown-up ending.
An evening fragrance, for autumn and winter. Unisex. To be honest: oud in the heart of a fruity divides opinion — anyone looking for a simple cherry will be surprised. But that is precisely what makes it memorable. Two sprays; it has presence.

Marshmallow Blush is the tenderest of the range: a red fruit wrapped in marshmallow.
— The opening is tart and bright: raspberry, strawberry and lemon. The lemon is what keeps the red fruits from falling into candy straight away — it holds the opening for a few minutes.
— The heart is the fragrance's successful transition: ambroxan, orange blossom and whipped cream. Ambroxan is a molecule that gives an impression of warm skin and salt, and its contrast with the cream is what makes this fragrance more interesting than a plain sweet one.
— The base is the promise of the name: marshmallow, musk and vanilla. Soft, powdery, cottony, and it stays for a long time.
A daytime, mid-season fragrance, easy to give as a gift, and liked very quickly. Unisex, with an openly feminine leaning. Two to three sprays.
