Chypre Toscano is Unique'e's only true chypre, and one of only two in the whole luxury range.
— The opening is frankly green: green leaves, thyme, lavender and saffron. Thyme is rare in fine perfumery — herbaceous, dry, almost medicinal. With the green leaves and the lavender, it is an entrance of Mediterranean garrigue.
— The heart is warm and dark: clove, cinnamon and smoked leather. The smoked leather here belongs to the treated-birch family — dry, woody, with no animal heaviness at all.
— The base is the chypre's bedrock: cedar, patchouli, olibanum, amber and musk.
A mid-season and autumn fragrance, for day as well as evening, unisex with a masculine leaning.
A chypre is a family almost nobody makes any more, least of all the Gulf houses: a green, aromatic, woody construction, with no sugar.
